The Aldgate Partnership

Aldgate Craft Club Launched

We are proud to launch the first Aldgate employee-community lunchtime craft club. Play is vitally important to human wellbeing. ‘Crafting’ can help you to relax your mind and body, literally creating space to reorganize your thoughts, rebalance emotionally and recharge your mental and physical batteries.

Wellbeing initiatives have been shown to give an average of 3:1 return on investment reducing staff turnover and sickness, increasing productivity and performance, and contributing to a healthier bottom line.

This is free and open to all. There is no prior experience or knowledge necessary just come and enjoy a sense of calm whilst making something for yourself, your home or someone else. All activities have an upcycling and recycling element and seasonally themed.

This craft club is a collaboration between TAP and Sandra, a local employee and volunteer who enjoys craft and wants to share her passion with the community.

To first session will be taking place on 14 February 2019 at Aldgate House, 12.45pm
