Black History Month Comedy Night at Toynbee Hall

Aldgate Connect BID has partnered with Toynbee Hall to celebrate Black History Month with a night of comedy! The event aims to raise money for Toynbee Hall and help build a fairer future in East London and an end to poverty, injustice and inequality.

With a fantastic line-up of some of the best Black comedians in the country including:

• Slim – The first Black British comedian to sell out the London Palladium with his own show
• Michael Odewale – Live at the Apollo, The Stand Up Sketch Show
• Ola Labib – first black Muslim woman to perform at the O2 Arena, Richard Osman’s House of Games
• Toussaint Douglass- Dead Ringers BBC4 Radio, and Richard Osman’s House of Games

Tickets cost £15 and all funds raised go to Toynbee Hall, a charity started and based in the East End of London since 1884.

Toynbee Hall works alongside people facing poverty and injustice to build a fairer and happier East London. They provide vital support and work in partnership with local communities to tackle unfairness and ensure everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
