Join us for the next Aldgate Gardening Club workshop and learn the art of Kokedama!

Date: Friday 4th April, 12:30 – 1:30pm
Location: sYp, 19 Bevis Marks, London EC3A 7JA

This free lunchtime workshop will be guided by our wonderful instructors, who will teach you how to create your own unique Japanese hanging plant arrangements, or ‘Kokedama’!

‘Kokedama’ translates from the Japanese words for moss (‘koke’) and ball (‘dama’) – it is the art of freeing a plant from it’s container and planting it in a moss covered soil/clay ball.

These look great hanging just about anywhere and are nice and simple to look after. We’ll provide all the information and equipment you need to make your own hanging Kokedama, using plants like Asparagus Fern/Hedera Ivy/Areca palm as well as instruction on how you can make many more in the future – they make great gifts!
