Explore the exhibition in your own time and scan the QR Codes under each storyteller to hear their stories.
The exhibition is based in Vine Street in Aldgate EC3N 2PX (not to be confused with Vine Street in Westminster), and spans the length of Vine Street, America Square, and the Crescent. You can use SENZO City as your point for map directions.
You can find the stories by scanning the QR code underneath each of the Storyteller’s portraits, which are situated across the ‘Stories of Aldgate’ Exhibition.
Whilst the ‘Stories of Aldgate’ Exhibition does include auditory storytelling, there are many visual opportunities and the audios are transcripted.
Whilst the ‘Stories of Aldgate’ Exhibition does include predominately visually based installations, there are many auditory opportunities through the recordings of the spoken storytelling. Assistance may required in the scanning of the QR Codes for the audio.
All activity is outdoors and/or have wheelchair accessibility.
Unfortunately, there are no pushchair/buggies drop offs on site.
Due to the nature of the exhibition and it’s setting there aren’t dedicated facilities for audiences. However, free provisions are available at local businesses which are open for service as usual. You can also use this handy public toilet map for more details:
