Volunteering Opportunities – Providence Row

Aldgate Connect BID are excited to announce a variety of local volunteering opportunities for our business members.

As part of our partnership with Providence Row, a local homelessness charity, we have sponsored spaces for our BID Members to take part in the following volunteering opportunities at their Dellow Day Centre:

• Breakfast Service – Mondays, 7:45 – 10:15am, suitable for up to 2 people
  • Working with Chefs Nannette & Emma, you’ll be preparing, cooking and serving breakfast for 15-20 people. No need to worry about your cooking abilities – you’ll be guided through it all to make a delicious cooked breakfast for people who have been affected by homelessness.
• Lunch Service – Thursdays and Fridays, 10:45am – 2:15pm, suitable for teams of 4
  • You will work with Providence Row’s chefs to prepare and serve lunch to people rough sleeping or living in temporary accommodation without access to food or cooking facilities.
• Art Club – Wednesdays, 10:00am – 12:00pm, suitable for up to 2 people
  • Working with Providence Row staff, you’ll be providing a welcoming and creative space where individuals experiencing homelessness can express themselves through art, build a sense of community and access supportive resources.
• Café Refurb/Renovation Project – Whole day, multiple dates in January 2026
  • You will be supporting Providence Row staff in their efforts to refurbish their canteen into the Providence Row Café. This opportunity is suitable for groups of 5 or 10.
