Meeting point: Outside Citizen M hotel, 40 Trinity Square. Ending at Bishopsgate.

Our Aldgate Walking Tour is led an accredited City of London guide, Sarah Williams-Robbins (aka Mrs Londoner), who has an extensive background in health promotion and passion for walking.

Step away from your desk and discover amazing Roman ruins hidden behind a local hotel. You’ll learn about the immigrant communities who have built this world-class city and made Aldgate their home, wander through a bustling street market with 17th century origins, and admire the beautiful Georgian architecture in a Square where knights once roamed. And, after all that excitement, you’ll explore some quieter backstreets and calmer spaces that you might wish to return to in future lunch hours.

The tour will start outside citizenM hotel (Tower of London) and finish at Bishopsgate, near Liverpool Street Station.
