Aldgate in Winter Festival: Finalists in The NOEA ‘Event of the Year’ Award

The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) has announced the finalists for the 2025 NOEA Awards and Aldgate Connect BID are delighted to announce that the Aldgate in Winter Festival has been shortlisted for this prestigious recognition.

This year’s shortlist highlights the creativity, quality and innovation shaping the UK’s outdoor events industry, from major national festivals to forward-thinking local organisers.

We’re exceptionally proud to be named among the remarkable nominees for Event of the Year Award, alongside Slam Dunk Festival, Tiree Music Festival, CarFest, and the Alderford & Santa Island Experience, as well as the The Place Making Award, alongside Leadenhall Live 2025, and Light Up Leicester 2025.

Winners will be announced on taking place on 26th November at the Awards Ceremony.

The Aldgate in Winter Festival will be returning on 4th and 5th December this year, with many more festivities taking place throughout the season! The festival will bring back all the celebratory favourites to Aldgate Square, including: the Lantern Parade, live performances on The Aldgate Stage, creative workshops, a Lantern Trail, community feast, and more.
