We want all families to feel safe and supported while enjoying the Aldgate in Winter Festival. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our Lost Child policy so that, in the unlikely event of an incident, you know exactly what to do and who to speak to.
The Lost Child Point will be The Information Marquee on Aldgate Square, and the main contact will be the Security on site.
A ‘child’ refers to the legal definition in UK law: anyone under the age of 18 years old.
All Security and Stewarding staff will be fully briefed on Lost Child and Safeguarding Procedures.
All Security are DBS checked, and the Senior Event Manager Jamie Port and Operations Manager Pheona Kidd are also DBS checked.
If your child is lost, please tell them before the event that they should report to any member of staff wearing a high-vis vest or a member of Security. Security will be in full uniform and easily identifiable.
If you have lost your child, please report immediately to The Information Marquee on Aldgate Square.
We have an emergency liaison team who are fully briefed in the event of such an incident.
