Aldgate in Winter Festival – Lantern-Making Creative Workshop

Join us for the our creative lantern-making workshop and make your very own lantern for the parade!

As part of Aldgate in Winter Festival 2024, we are excited to host 2 x free lantern-making creative workshops, giving you the chance make your very own lantern for the festival!

Whether you are joining us in the festival’s Lantern Parade or just feel like having a crafty lunchbreak, this workshop is the one for you!

All workshop participants will craft their very own paper bag lanterns, an illuminated portrait of Aldgate life. Using a variety of techniques including tissue collage, papercuts, stencilling and drawing, you’ll bring your unique vision to life. Don’t miss this opportunity to create a glowing piece of art and be part of the Aldgate in Winter celebration.
