When you really think about it, there’s very littl When you really think about it, there’s very little you can control in life other than yourself. As part of our Refresh campaign, our Mental Wellbeing Lunch with @charlottewiseman_ taught us the value of letting go of external control so we can prioritise our own wellbeing and be the captain of our own ship.🛳️

Don’t worry if you missed out – we caught up with Charlotte afterwards for a quick recap on the Six Pillars of Resilience and how each one supports our wellbeing.

Something very special is taking place at @whitech Something very special is taking place at @whitechapelgallery until Sunday – a takeover of the venue’s Assembly Room by @duchampandsons and @maz_murray.

Developed over five months of playful experimentation, conversation (and plenty of snacking), the artistic collective created a film that drew from histories of cinema, visual storytelling and DIY film techniques.

“Through a satirical lens, the film subverts tropes about artists in the context of the housing crisis and increasing restrictions on protest. Wacky news reports, miniature sets and audio soundscapes combine to explore the difficulties facing young artists today.”
– @whitechapelgallery

We were delighted to continue our support for the Gallery’s Youth Programme and to see the results of this creative collaboration.

If you're grappling with ideas to fill the half-te If you're grappling with ideas to fill the half-term holidays, we've got a few to get you started. And don't worry if kids are a future problem – these are all perfect to enjoy with mates too.

1. Take a trip to the City Wall at Vine Street
This free museum is 2,000 years of beautifully preserved history in the heart of London. With a collection of meticulously unearthed historical artefacts and a unique section of the original City Wall, it brings to life the story of London (and Londinium) in an immersive and educational way.

2. Sing your heart out at @luckyvoicekaraoke
Instead of asking the kids to quiet down, get them to pipe up for two hours of caterwauling under the disco balls at Lucky Voice in Devonshire Square. From Disney bangers to old school anthems, a great time is guaranteed for all.

3. Make pop quizzes cool at @quiz_room_uk
Book for an hour of high-energy quizzing that's so fun, they won't even realise they're learning too. At this immersive TV quiz experience, there'll be no arguing over the remote; just fingers on buzzers to see who has the most knowledge, observational skills and speed.

And if you've got any we've missed, share them with fellow parents in the comments 👇 (It takes a village, after all.)
