Aldgate WAVE & Ask for Angela Training

We are invites members of the hospitality & security sectors to join us for a free Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement (WAVE) & ‘Ask for Angela’ Training Session, delivered in partnership with the City of London Police & Safer Business Network.

WAVE is a police-endorsed training programme, which aims to increase the skills, knowledge and confidence of those working in the sectors to identify vulnerable members of the public and make appropriate interventions.

The session will cover:

• Understanding the definition of vulnerability
• Exploring what makes people vulnerable
• Identify factors that assist you to recognise vulnerability
• Exploring where interventions can be made to reduce vulnerability
• Identifying appropriate interventions
• Understanding and recognising the “Ask for Angela” campaign
