Location: Lime Street, EC3M 7HA

Presented by PC Andrew Jacks, this seminar will update attendees on the current local crime trends and the methods being used to commit crime in the City of London and how our security teams can support.

The City of London remains one of the safest places to live, work and visit. However, there will always be opportunities for people to take advantage of unsuspecting tourists and workers.

So how can the security teams, part of the wider police family, support the City of London Police to make this an even safer place?

This presentation will cover:

  • What the current crime trends are in the City of London;
  • What operations the City of London Police are running to support the night-time economy and reducing violence against women and girls;
  • What types of suspicious activity and behaviour you should be looking for
  • How to report suspicious activity
  • Understand what sort of information the City of London Police need from that initial call
  • How you may be able to protect vital evidence, either from CCTV images, first-hand witness accounts or identifying crime scenes
