Clean City Awards 2023

The Clean City Awards Scheme (CCAS) is run by the City of London Corporation and has been recognising and rewarding environmental best practice within Square Mile businesses since 1994.

There are four main focuses of CCAS:

• Air quality & climate action
• Communication & engagement around sustainability
• Resource efficiency & move towards circular economy practices
• Transition towards a Plastic Free City

The Aldgate Connect and EC BIDs were proud to sponsor the Plastic Free City Award at this year’s Clean City Awards ceremony, to celebrate the businesses within the City working hard towards becoming plastic free. Supporting the awards showcases the BIDs’ commitments to empowering businesses in their environmental best practice.

The Clean City Awards Scheme not only celebrates, but also provides best practice meetings, access to the exclusive resource page of the website, monthly newsletters, and the Clean City Awards Scheme team are always on hand to assist with any sustainability focused query companies may have. All of this aims to assist businesses within the Square Mile to exceed in areas of sustainability, whether they are entering as a small or large business, or facilities management.
