FREE Mental Health First Aid Training Course

Date:  Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd March 2023, 9.30am-5.30pm on both days

Join us for a FREE Mental Health First Aid Training Course this March, and become a qualified MHFA England Mental Health First Aider, giving you the skills to spot the signs of low mental health and how to best support individuals in the workplace.

This offer is part of the BID’s commitment to workplace wellbeing and safety in Aldgate.

Participants of the course will leave with:

• An in-depth understanding of mental health & factors that can affect wellbeing
• Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
• Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
• Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgmental listening
• Knowledge to help someone recover by guiding them to further support

The course will be delivered by Charlotte Wiseman, who is known as a leader in this field. Charlotte is a member of the British Psychological Society and International Positive Psychology Association, as well as a Positive Psychology and Leadership Consultant with an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, a certificate in Neuroscience for Business, MHFA England Mental Health First Aid Trainer qualifications, and Mindful-based Cognitive Therapy training qualifications.
