The carbon offsetting space can be confusing. There are so many options it’s difficult to know where to start, or what to look for.

In this lunch and learn, we’ll be joined by Pinwheel. Pinwheel helps businesses fund high impact sustainability projects including carbon removal and biodiversity whilst driving stakeholder engagement creating a return on investment on net zero and biodiversity funding.

We’ll cover:

There’ll be a 45 minutes presentation, with 15 minutes for you to ask questions.

Rob Cheesewright, Chief Impact Officer, Pinwheel

Rob is an environmentalist and experienced media commentator.

Rob joined the climate-tech start-up Pinwheel in 2021. He led the development of Pinwheel’s proprietary environmental project rating tools, working with Oxford University’s principles of carbon offsetting, and has assembled the world-class portfolio of climate, biodiversity, recycling and waste recovery projects that sit at the centre of the Pinwheel platform.

Nikki Elton, Sustainability and Marketing Manager, Pinwheel

Nikki joined Pinwheel in 2022 and is responsible for finding and onboarding planet repairing projects globally, managing and developing client relationships and working with the tech team to ensure the product meets client needs.

Nikki joined Pinwheel following the successful completion of the On Purpose programme. A leadership programme designed for seasoned professionals transitioning into social and environmental impact.
