The design of spaces and places is crucial to improving the safety of women and girls around the clock. While challenges may arise around making substantial changes to existing spaces or buildings, even simply changing the layout of furniture in a venue can make huge difference.

Safer Business Network are running WNSC Spaces & Places Training Webinars for businesses in the area. In this session, we’ll hear about work being done to include the experiences, needs and realities of women, girls and gender diverse people in urban development. We’ll also look at some of the principles that have come out of this work and see how they can be adopted into your own work.
