Call to Tender – Petticoat Lane Digital Communications

Petticoat Lane is a vital asset to the area, with a rich and evocative history and a vibrant culture. It already plays an important role, with a diverse ‘offer’ for visitors, workers and residents, but it has the potential to evolve and play an even greater role in the future vibrancy of the wider area.  To help Petticoat Lane realise its potential, we recognise that there needs to be a more focused marketing campaign, built around the recently developed brand, to build its unique identity and showcase the core themes of food and sustainable fashion, alongside celebrating its heritage and sense of community.

Working with the City of London and Tower Hamlets, the BID would like to appoint a partner to develop a marketing plan, specifically to:

  • Create a digital presence for Petticoat Lane – develop and build a website and social media channels as appropriate.
  • Work with the newly established visual identity and adopted brand guidelines.
  • Develop an overarching positioning and messaging strategy to help promote Petticoat Lane to visitors, workers and residents, and articulate how the digital channels will be used to bring this strategy to life.

We are aiming to launch the new digital channels in January.
