On behalf of NLA, City of London Police and Unknown Works, we’re inviting you and your network to participate in a community-led workshop to help shape the future of policing in the City of London.

In 2019, the City of London Police identified a need for a new Digital Police Box. In 2020, following a competition, a design for a re-imagined police box by architects Unknown Works was selected. The proposal prioritises interaction between the police and public.

Now, we need your input!

As members of Aldgate Connect BID, we are looking for the input of City workers, residents and visitors in order to ensure that the design for the Police Box is developed to fit the needs of the community it will be serving. To do so, we are hosting two workshops (lunch and/or refreshments will be provided at both) that will take place in-person at The City Centre, 80 Basinghall Street EC2V 5AG and last two hours:

  • Tuesday 21 February at 6:00pm
  • Wednesday 22 February at 1:00pm

Click here to view the invitation that outlines some basic details of the project. We’re looking to gather a wide range of perspectives, so would be grateful to hear from as many City workers, residents and visitors as possible.

You can register to the workshop here. or get in touch with Katya Spiers at katya.spiers@nla.london if you have any questions.
