Craft Club Activity Sheet Collection
The Aldgate Connect BID has collaborated with Sandra, our local master crafter, to host a series of Wellbeing and Mindfulness Craft Club workshops. Below you can download the Activity Sheets from the sessions and have a go at re-creating your own crafts!
1.Cereal Box Notebook
A notebook using some plain printer paper and a empty cereal box for a sturdy cover to keep all your pages protected. You can decorate your notebook with any embellishments you have in your cupboards. Sew on a button and some string to secure the book and add a little extra dimension and interest. Click on the link below to view the full instructions.
2.Exfoliating Coffee Scrub
This homemade coffee scrub made with essential oil can help nourish skin and lessen the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite. The antioxidants in the coffee provide a temporary anti-inflammatory that helps skin appear firmer and help prevent premature skin aging. The almond oil and vitamin E will moisturize your skin leaving it silky smooth. Ideal for a Mother’s Day gift. Click on the link below to view the full instructions.
3.Father’s Day Gift Bag
Something special this Father’s day and show how much you care. Don’t just stop there. Use this idea for any occasion. It makes the perfect gift bag to use for those really odd shaped gifts that are so challenging to wrap. For different variations, use any leftover wrapping paper. Newspaper works well. Glue 2 sheets together to make it really strong. Click on the link below to view the full instructions.
4.LED Light Wine Bottle
Instead of throwing out those empty bottles, make good use of your old wine bottles by decorating them and then adding some LED string lights for illumination. This looks amazing at Christmas or dinner parties as a centre display to complement your table. Click on the link below to view the full instructions.
5.Tin Can Pen Pot
Early tin cans were sealed by soldering with a tin-lead alloy. Steel from cans and other sources is the most recycled packaging material. Around 65% of steel cans are recycled. However, instead of recycling your cans, you can reuse them and turn them into something quite useful. Click on the link below to view the full instructions.
6.Upcycled Plastic Bottle
A pot planter is the perfect project to recycle your empty plastic bottles. With such a big focus on plastic recycling and the negative impact on our environment, there are many other ideas to reuse and repurpose your plastic instead of throwing it out.
