Aldgate Connect BID and Aldgate Solar Power are inviting residents, parents and children to the Creative Energy Club, a day of art making and idea shaping!

Date: Saturday 25th February, 11am-3pm
Location: Portsoken Community Centre, E1 8AE

  • All art materials supplied
  • Refreshments & lunch provided
  • Free energy-saving light bulbs

The Creative Energy Club is about generating creative energy to campaign for clean, green, affordable energy for everyone. These workshops are supported by the Aldgate Connect Community Fund.

At the Club you will:

  • Find out about community energy and make artwork inspired by what you learn, together with the Aldgate Solar Power team.
  • Create artwork that can be used to raise awareness about community energy, and how it can change our unfair, unsustainable and unaffordable energy system.
  • Get help and advice4 on energy costs from an energy advisor, and receive free energy-saving light bulbs.
  • Find out how we can produce clean, green, solar energy from our community rooftops – and how you can get involved!

The Club is open to residents living in and around the Aldgate. This sessions is aimed at parents with children, but we welcome any resident if space is available.

To register, please get in touch with Manuel Cameron by text or WhatsApp on 07387 895058 or at manuel.cameron@repowering.org.uk.

Keep an eye out, as more sessions will be planned in April and June!
