Earth Hour are inviting everyone to switch off and do something positive for the planet.

Since their beginnings in 2007, Earth Hour has been known for the “lights off” moment, with individuals from around the globe switching off their lights to show symbolic support for the planet and to raise awareness of the environmental issues affecting it.

With the increase in global temperatures and disastrous climate-related events around the world, it’s now more crucial than ever to do what we can to help protect our one shared home. In response to this, Earth Hour created the Biggest Hour on Earth in 2023, calling their supporters to switch off their lights for 60 minutes and give an hour for Earth by doing anything positive they can for our planet.

Whether it’s researching how to reduce your water and carbon footprints, planning an outdoor adventure, or cooking a sustainable meal for your loved ones, those 60 minutes, along with the hours of supporters in 190 countries around the world, will have a huge impact and shine a beacon of hope for a brighter future, harnessing and celebrating the power of the people.
