Vibrant New Signage for Petticoat Lane

Vibrant new Petticoat Lane branded signs have been installed by Aldgate Connect BID across the Petticoat Lane area. Three of the new signs can be found just off Wentworth Street on Toynbee St, Old Castle St, and Bell Lane, alongside refreshed lettering on the gate at the top of Middlesex Street by Bishopsgate.

These updates have been designed to create a warmer, more welcoming entrance to the area, offering a clear and friendly greeting to everyone arriving, passing through, or exploring the Petticoat Lane area.

The new signage also helps to strengthen the identity of the area, reinforcing a strong and recognisable sense of place.

Ella Bothamley, Placemaking Project Manager at Aldgate Connect BID said:

“We’re really pleased with the new gate signage across the Petticoat Lane area. The designs are colourful, align closely with Petticoat Lane’s branding and have been very well received by businesses and visitors alike. We hope they help create a stronger sense of arrival while improving wayfinding throughout the area.”
