SOS: The Canvas Cafe Needs You!

The Canvas is a social enterprise cafe on Commercial Street, working particularly with local homeless people, offering free hot drinks and home cooked meals every day, as well as vital friendship. This is made possible by paying customers ‘paying forward’, but with more people working from home in their area, footfall has dropped massively. With the rising cost of living, food poverty is increasing and so is the demand. Canvas Café is struggling to meet the demand and have launched a crowdfunding page to save their business and continue their work with the community:
