Aldgate Connect BID are pleased to share that the Stories of Aldgate Exhibition will now be displayed until 28th October 2025, in collaboration with the City of London Corporation, to support the public consultation for the Fenchurch Street Area Healthy Streets Plan.
The Stories of Aldgate Exhibition will continue to showcase the voices of local residents, workers, students, businesses, and historic figures through a handpicked collection of photographs, personal stories, artworks, and interactive displays. Visitors are invited to continue to uncover the exhibition at their own pace and scan the QR codes under each storyteller to hear their stories.
Now running until 28th October across Aldgate’s Vine Street, EC3, this free public exhibition invites visitors to explore the people, places, and history that have shaped Aldgate into the influential corner of London that it is today. It highlights Aldgate’s transformation from a historic gateway in the City of London to a forward-thinking community, known for its celebration of diversity and innovation.
HAVE YOUR SAY – You can now have your say in the future of the street through the Fenchurch Street Area Healthy Streets Plan consultation. The City of London’s consultation is live until Friday 17th October, and aims to gather feedback to support the creation an improvement plan for the streets and spaces in the area between Fenchurch Street and Lower Thames Street. Delivering this Healthy Streets Plan will establish more welcoming, accessible and safer streets for people in the community to walk, wheel, cycle and spend time.
