Another egg-cellent year of the Aldgate Egg Hunt!
The hunt took place from Monday 18th March until Monday 1st April and saw 9 hand-painted chicks appear in the windows of local Aldgate businesses. The hunt started with the first chick at Aldgate Tap in Aldgate Square and ended at Tower Suites, with participants having to uncover a clue at each venue to find out their next location. Once completed, participants received their prize of a chocolate egg!
The Aldgate Egg Hunt saw a wide range of people take part, enjoying the walk and exploring the area in a fun and egg-citing way. We were delighted to have Ally the Aldgate Bunny back once again, to help get everyone in the Egg Hunt spirit!

The Aldgate Egg Hunt saw 327 Chocolate Eggs given out, 9 local businesses taking part in the trail, 273 Chocolate Eggs donated to Food for Aldgate Foodbank, 10 exclusive offers from 9 businesses on the In The City App, and 15 days of egg hunting across Aldgate.
We want to say a big thank you to the businesses that took part and those who provided amazing offers to the participants too, including Aldgate Tap, Current Café, Humble Grape Liverpool Street, Jonny’s Place, So Restaurant, Satyrio Restaurant & Wine Merchants, BE Offices, SENZO, and Tower Suites by Blue Orchid Hospitality.
We also want to give a shout out to Alasdair, Emma and the team from The Intrepid Collective for doing an amazing job in helping with the delivery of the activity.
