Thank you! Aldgate Egg Hunt

We had the most egg-cellent time at the Aldgate Egg Hunt 2023!

The hunt took place from Thursday 30th March until Monday 10th April and saw 9 hand painted bunnies appear in the windows of Aldgate local businesses. The hunt started with the first bunny at Aldgate Tap in Aldgate Square, from which participants followed 8 clues to seek out the other bunnies and ended at Clayton Hotel City of London, who was kindly handing out chocolate eggs!

The Aldgate Egg Hunt saw a whole range of people take part including families, residents, visitors and workers enjoy the walk and fun way to explore the area.

We were delighted to have Ally the Aldgate Bunny enhance the activity and get everyone in the Egg Hunt spirit!

The Aldgate Egg Hunt saw 325 Chocolate Eggs collected by participants, 9 local businesses taken over by Egg Hunt bunnies, 2 days of Ally the Aldgate Bunny across 3 key locations, 125 Chocolate Eggs donated to Food for Aldgate Foodbank, 9 exclusive offers from 7 businesses on the In The City App and 12 days of egg hunting across Aldgate.

We want to say a big thank you to the businesses that agreed to take part and those who provided amazing offers to the participants too, including Aldgate Tap, Dabbers Social Bingo, Satyrio Restaurant & Wine Merchants, City Bouldering, Mattarello Bolognese, Current Cafe, Unity Diner, Leman Locke Hotel & Clayton Hotel City of London.

We also want to give a shout out to Alasdair & the team from The Intrepid Collective for doing an amazing job in helping with the delivery of the activity.
