Thank You for Joining Us at the First Ever Lady Mayor’s Show

On Saturday, Aldgate Connect BID was pleased to join the other City BIDs in welcoming Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley DBE in the first ever Lady Mayor’s Show.

We joined the other City BIDs: Cheapside Business Alliance, Culture Mile, Eastern City, and Fleet Street Quarter, on a collaborative community float. This year’s float celebrated Community Heroes – the everyday individuals who make a truly positive impact in our communities.

For Aldgate, the storytellers from Stories of Aldgate were invited to join the parade, providing them with the chance to board the float and wave proudly to the gathered crowds. The float was adorned with the City’s iconic skyline (with even Petticoat Lane making a special feature).

A huge thank you to our Community Heroes, everyone who joined us in the show, and to all the supporters who cheered us on.
