Toast the City Awards: Congratulations Aldgate Winners

Showcasing the best of the area’s hospitality and leisure, Toast the City Awards celebrated Aldgate’s success, with two local businesses recognised as winners in their categories.

Aldgate Connect BID was proud to join the City BIDs – Cheapside Business Alliance, Culture Mile, Eastern City, & Fleet Street Quarter – in supporting City AM’s Toast the City Awards. Winners of the Toast the City Awards were determined through a combination of more than 30,000 public votes and the deliberations of a judging panel.

Congratulations to Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds: The Immersive Experience , voted Best Family Experience. Talented actors bring the story to life, as you’re guided through immersive room sets, with special effects and three incredible Virtual Reality sequences that you see, smell and feel.

The Best Restaurant was awarded to Galvin La Chapelle! A Michelin-starred dining experience in the heart of the City, featuring exquisite tasting menus, vibrant Mediterranean flavours, and events held throughout the year.
