Vine Steet Lighting Preview

As part of our continued work on the Vine Street project, we are going to be carrying out some creative lighting trials under the railway bridge on Wednesday 20 November. This event will consist of a preview of the lighting trials , accompanied by a chance to explore the Christmas in the Crescent pop up market!

About the preview:

Our placemaking consultants PJA and lighting specialists Studio Dekka have been working on the concept designs and will be trialling a range of lighting arrangements on the Vine Street railway underpass to help inform the next stage of the design development. We would be delighted for you to join us on the day for a preview of the lighting options and to have your say by providing feedback to the team. The updated design will be then available via the Aldgate Connect Commonplace platform after the event.

About the market:

We are excited to announce that a Christmas Market is coming to The Crescent (next to the Vine Street Bridge) and will be in place from Tuesday 19 November – Monday 6 January.
