The lunchtime stroll is a great incentive to get away from your desk and get some fresh air during the colder months; providing you with a chance to connect with this historic neighbourhood, along with colleagues, friends and local residents.
These Wellbeing Walks are led by Sarah Williams-Robbins, aka Mrs Londoner, an accredited City of London guide with a background in health promotion and a passion for walking.
You will discover amazing Roman ruins adjoining a hotel and café. You’ll also learn about the waves of immigrant communities who have built this world-class city, and made this area their home. You will wander through a bustling street market with 17th century origins; and admire the beautiful Georgian architecture in a Square where knights once roamed.
Finally, you’ll have the chance to explore some quieter backstreets and calmer spaces that you might wish to return to in future lunch hours.
