This March, Aldgate steps into spring with an exciting mix of tours, treats, workshops and trails for everyone to enjoy. Explore what’s on this month:

Aldgate Egg Hunt | 20th March – 6th April
The FREE Aldgate Egg Hunt returns this year for a longer period, introducing a brand‑new ‘Crack the Egg’ Team Challenge, bringing back Ally the Aldgate Bunny activation days and, as always, including plenty of hidden clues leading you to your chocolate treat.

Toynbee Hall Walking Tours | Every Tuesday in March
Get inspired this Women’s History Month. Spend your lunch break learning about the pioneering women who have shaped Spitalfields through the ages. What better way to put a midday spring in your step? If you’re keen to join, email walkwithlianne@gmail.com for details.

Hoopla at The Bell | 7th March

Intro to Female Boxing | 7th & 21st March
Join 12×3 Boxing and Fight Forward CIC for a class like no other. Led by elite female instructors and open to all levels, it’s a chance to try out some training and spar in safe and controlled conditions. This class is open to all women looking to find community, confidence and empowerment through sport.

Tarot Time | 8th, 22nd & 26th March
The Tarot Booth Collective are back at Alba Caffe to help you unlock insight and find clarity through the mystic art of tarot. Their friendly readers are on hand to help interpret your cards and offer guidance. No booking required – just turn up, grab a coffee for a reading discount, and wait for your future to unfold.

How to Read Minds | 11th March
As part of an epic lineup of talks and events, Sir Devonshire Square is hosting author Aimee Cliff so you can learn how to read minds. But there are no psychics here – it’s about unlocking the power of emotional intelligence to understand others through empathy.

London Jam Booth | 12th-14th March
Enjoy a three-day burst of creativity, community and connection. You’ll be pushed out of your comfort zone with bold problem-solving, wild ideation, and rapid prototyping, meeting new people and learning from other creatives along the way.

Rebrand your Routine | 17th March
Spacegoods – the brand that’s elevating coffee for focus, energy and calm – will be popping up in Aldgate Square, offering a free coffee or matcha in return for you sharing one personal goal with them. They’ll be there from 10:00am-2:00pm to help you adjust your mindset and supercharge your routine.

A Journal of the Plague Year | 19th March
Did you know that a plague pit was discovered beneath Aldgate Station? Maybe that’s why Footprints of London have chosen it as the first location on this walking tour, charting Daniel Defoe’s 1665 account of London in crisis. Book on Eventbrite to trace the stories of sorrow and hope.

Living Room Listens | 21st March
One House Social Club is holding another evening of connection and community at The Chamberlain, using the power of song to tell your stories. Bring a track that holds meaning for you as a way to connect with new people and enjoy games and refreshments while you’re there.

Crack the Egg: The Aldgate Team Challenge | 31st March & 1st April
Step away from the desk and take on Aldgate’s ultimate team challenge. Grab your colleagues and friends and join us on Tuesday 31st March or Wednesday 1st April. Teams of 3–6 people are invited to crack the clues, beat the clock and scramble their way to victory.

DSQ’s International Women in Arts Festival – ‘Fuego Latino’ | 26th March
Devonshire Square will be hosting ‘Fuego Latino’, a vibrant lunchtime concert featuring the all-female trio Bru-Ha, as part of DSQ’s International Women in Arts Festival. Bru-Ha’s music celebrates the power and artistry of women, uniting audiences from diverse backgrounds and creating unforgettable musical experiences.

Whitechapel Women Walking Tour | 27th March
Remember their lives, not their ends, this Women’s History month. This walking tour led by Beyond the Streets challenges the history books by telling a different story – looking back at the lives of the East End’s Victorian inhabitants, and carrying the campaign to end violence against women and girls through the centuries.

Ally the Aldgate Bunny: Aldgate Egg Hunt | 24th March, 28th March & 1st April
Keep your eyes peeled for Ally as he bounces back around Aldgate this spring. Spot him around the area, stop him for a photo, and you might even receive a cheeky treat or even a hint to help you find your next clue!
